Nonfiction - American Victory and All But My Life

Two nonfiction books that I've read are American Victory by Henry Cejudo and All But My Life by Gerda Weissmann Klein. These are both autobiographies that have the theme of overcoming adversity. Cejudo grew up in a poor Mexican-American family and worked hard at his wrestling career to become an Olympic gold medalist. Klein grew up during the Holocaust and lived through all of the pain and hardships that came along what was anything but a sojourn in an internment camp. I take these philosophies of overcoming adversity and working hard and try to apply them to my life.
